BUTT, Laura (nee Lord)
Peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in her 54th year. Beloved wife of Robin Butt. Loving mother of Nolan. Loved sister of Lisa Lord (Bill) and Linda Hunt (David). Cherished aunt of eleven nieces and nephews, and great-aunt to three. Daughter of Eleanor Lord (2013) and Jack Lord (2009). Daughter-in law of Don and Vi Butt of Orangeville. Laura will be greatly missed by many other relatives and special friends. Special thanks to the many doctors and caregivers over the years.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street., Orangeville on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until time of the celebration of life in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the C.N.I.B. or the Kidney Transplant Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Laura in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
