Peacefully at Shelburne Residence on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at the age of 101. Beloved wife of late Arthur Maxwell. Loving mother of Mary Collins (late Ernest), Arlene Hipkins (late Skip) and Lynda Askin (late Sonny). Cherished grandmother of Dave, Rick, Bonnie, Arlene, Ken, Ed and the late Terry; great-grandmother of Michael, Ryan, Dylan, David, Brad, Ashley, Leah, Erin; and great great grandmother of Etta. Dear sister of Marie Erwin (late Jack). Helen will also be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street., Orangeville Monday, March 2nd, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Spring Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Helen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
