Monte Buttler

My condolences to Mrs Luella Thomson, family and friends. This is how I remember a man of great character zeal and such zest for life In greeting I would ask Mr. Thomson how are you today and his reply it’s Jim and “all the better for seeing you today “followed by one of his quite often colourful story’s that flowed like casting a fly skimming the surface before taking you to the deep pure poetry in motion better get ready it may be a while before you get back to doing whatever you were doing before your paths crossed... The man was full of one liners quick wit that left you with a sore stomach from belly laughter! On so many different occasions he would catch you completely off guard leaving many refreshed with his take on life... His love of the Trout Club did not go unnoticed this past season he attended every event and function he could fit in he came to the heels party with injury like that was going to stop him” not “, spent the night in emerge being attended to and came right back for champagne brunch the following morning. He is now with his beloved dogs blowing his whistle as they dance to his direction. In ending I must say that it is We that are all the better for knowing you Mr.Thomson, Yes I know Jim. He will be missed Rest in peace. Sincerely, Monte Buttler Chef Caledon Mountain Trout Club
