Condolence From: Joe Krizan
Condolence: My sincerest condolences to Heather, Ryan and Rachel. I had the pleasure of first meeting Jim in 2004 in Orangeville where he welcomed me warmly into his home with a glass of Rum and a story or 3...I'm only glad that a year later I was able to return the favor when Jim and Heather holidayed in Australia.

Sad to see one of the good guys go.

Condolence: Rachel, I was so sad to see the notice in the paper that your Dad had lost his battle. He was such a nice man with a great wit, and the world will be a little less bright now that he is no longer here. He would stop into our office from time to time and always had a funny story to tell. He faced his illness with grace, positivity and humour and I was sure that if anyone could beat this terrible disease your Dad would be the one.. He last stopped in a few months ago with a smile and funny stories as always. He made others smile and their day a little brighter, and you must be so proud of him. He was certainly very proud of you and always spoke of you when he stopped by, along with little stories of your Mom and brother too. He loved you all so much, he was a great guy, my deepest and sincerest condolences to you and your family at this very difficult time. Jill (Marlin Travel)

Condolence: Our deepest condolence to your family. I will never forget Jim. When he would come over to help me out, we would start talking about aviation and landscaping and very little work would be accomplished. I will remember the workmanship and pride he would take in whatever he did. Jim you have earned your wings now soar with the angels.

Condolence: Jim was a man of integrity. He had a sense of humour and story telling that made work and social events enjoyable for all. His sense of pride in workmanship was evident in all he did and has been inspirational to many of us. Jim will be remembered for his culinary skills and generosity of time at our Heart's Content Fly-ins and RAA Toronto's social events. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers are with Heather and family at this time of loss.
