HENRICK, Edith Lorraine
Passed away peacefully, after a long and courageous battle, with family at her side at Headwaters Healthcare Centre, Orangeville on Friday, February 7, 2014 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of John Henrick for 57 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Gladys Maude. Dear sister of Kathy Thorpe and Ted Maude. Loving mother of Paul (Ingrid), Tom, Kim, and John Jr. Proud Nanny of Jason, Tommy, Jamie, Kaatje, Alison, Jeffrey, Claire, and Will. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by all her dear nieces, nephews and extended family.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of her life will take place at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday, February 23rd, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of Headwaters Health Care Centre for the wonderful care Lorraine received during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, Ontario.
A tree will be planted in memory of Lorraine in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.
