Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Brampton Civic Hospital on November 19, 2022 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Jerry. Dear mother of Melissa Young (Jeff) and Amanda Thibodeau (Jeff). Cherished grandmother of Ayla, Alyx, Kylee & Bennett. Loving sister of Karen Henry (Rob) & Rod Smyth (Cathy). Special aunt to Kayleigh, Matt, Corey, Justin, Nicole & Ryan. Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Edith Smyth. Dear daughter-in-law of Mary & Onnie Drakes and sister-in-law of Randy Drakes (Carol). Yvonne will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday November 26th, 2022 from 3:00pm - 5:00 pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Yvonne in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
