I fondly remember my childhood at the Dynes. There are so many memories I have. ‘Helping’ Arnold with farm chores made me feel like a ‘big girl’. Picking stones out of the field each spring and bringing out the water jug (the picture is Arnold giving me a drink in the field in 1973!). Going to the livestock auctions and bringing home chicks (which I let out of the box because I could not resist how cute they were!). Eating corn... a lot of corn, so much corn in fact that I think I overstuffed myself! Spending hours playing on the huge swing in the back yard with Glenn. My childhood was so much richer because you all were such a big part of it.

I will always remember Arnold with great fondness; his kind, gentle and patient nature taught me so many precious life lessons.... I cannot thank him enough.

With much love to you all and my sincerest condolences,
Pamela (Still) Provoost

We were saddened to hear of Arnold's passing this week. Living in the same community for many, many years and attending the same church, we have lots of dear memories of times spent with a very kind, gentle, sincere man. Charlie has fond memories of inviting Arnold "out to play" - taking their snowmobiles for a ride.
We cannot be with you at this time, as we are in Florida - and remembering our visits with Arnold and Elva when they spent part of their winters here. We send our warmest sympathy to Elva and all of the family. A donation has been sent to High Country United Church in memory of Arnold.

Our deepest sympathies to all the Dynes family. Dear Uncle Arnold will be fondly remembered by all of us. Take comfort in all the many beautiful memories you have of him. He was the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful soul we have had the privilege of knowing. Love & prayers, Louise (sister) and the rest of the McGowan family.
