Peacefully at his home in Orangeville surrounded by family near and far on Friday. September 11, 2020.Bill Conning, P.Eng in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Judy Conning.Proud Dad of Janet, Lesley and her husband Terry, and Steven and his wife Nana. Joyful Grandpa to Nicholas and Jessica, Kai and Noah. Loving son of Ross and Cay Conning, and brother to the late Ken, and David (Paula) Conning. Sadly missed by brother-in-law Doug (Sue) Grundy, and Susan Conning, and by many dear colleagues and friends.
A drop-in gathering will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m at Dods & McNair Funeral Home Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Bill may be made to Loft Community Services, St. Mark’s Church, Orangeville or a charity of your choice.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
