SMITH, William (Bill) Geoffrey
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Tess; treasured father of Angela (Frank Catrambone), Caroline (Rob Sharpe) and Geoff (Mirela Kovacevic); cherished grandpa and poppa of Taylor, Shaina, Victoria, Christopher, Karina, Josiah, Rebecca, Michael, Nicholas and Elias. Predeceased by his sister Ann and brother John. Bill will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will take place at Faith Community Wesleyan Church, 21170 Hurontario Street, Orangeville, ON, on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Compassion of Canada, 99 Enterprise Drive, London, Ontario, N6N 1B9.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com.
