Obituary for Wayne Brian Patrick Leduke
Wayne Leduke – May 5, 1944 – March 9, 2021
With profound sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Wayne Leduke of Hillsburgh, Ontario, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of almost 50 years of the late Patricia Leduke (2018). He will be lovingly remembered by his; children Brian and Shelley Leduke, Donna and Hugo Taft and Neil and Elizabeth Leduke; grandchildren Bria, James, Sarah, Bennett and Micah great-grandchild Levi. He will also be dearly missed by his brother Larry (Lorraine), as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Wayne always wanted to make someone laugh. He had a wonderful sense of humour, which is how he connected with his family and friends. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with his family in the wilderness and under the stars. Wayne never wanted to see someone without and always opened his home to those in need and would buy a coffee or meal for a stranger.
As a lover of all animals, we kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, you honour his memory by donating to the Orangeville SPCA and Humane Society – www.ontariospca.ca/orangeville.
Due to current restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre on Monday, March 15, 2021. The service will be live-streamed at www.dodsandmcnair.com on Wayne's obituary page at the webcast site.
A tree will be planted in Wayne's memory in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2:30 pm.
