Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late James Shaw. Dear mother of Gary (Brenda). Cherished grandma of Julie (Fraser) and Craig (Jenna). Proud great-grandma of Logan, Avery, Hazel and Odin. Also survived by her brother Keith (Gwen). Predeceased by her sister Norma. Velma will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Westminster United Church or Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
