Obituary for Stacey Ann Jones (Duggan)

Jones, Stacey Ann (nee Duggan)
After a tough battle with leukemia Stacey Ann Jones (nee Duggan) passed away peacefully at the age of 43 on November 5, 2020 with her loving husband Billy by her side. Stacey was born in Brampton on January 17, 1977 as a birthday gift to her beloved mother Gail Duggan (nee Yeo). They not only shared the same birthday but also their love of volleyball, skiing and horses.
She attended Ryerson University studying Business & Technology and then went on to work in the family businesses. Initially with Armor Personnel, then Prior Resource Group and finally as Chief Operating Officer at The Staffing Edge. When The Staffing Edge was sold in February 2018 she was retained as President, Global Staffing Support Division and remained there until she fell ill in December 2019. Stacey loved to share her knowledge of the staffing industry and Human Resources with her clients and colleagues. She was a wonderful mentor and capable, genuine leader who played a key role in the business.
She was also an involved member in the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Brampton Board of Trade and the Mansfield Pine River Community Association where she served on the Board of Directors and was Team Manager of ski racing programs.
In her free time, she loved to spend time with her husband Billy, who she was married to for over seventeen years, and her three smart, beautiful girls Kaitee (14), Kendal (12) and Kinzie (11). They all shared a love for travel, most recently to Hawaii, Mexico and Whistler. The family also enjoyed skiing and staying weekends at their chalet at Mansfield in the winter and horseback riding or boating at the cottage in the summer.
Stacey loved and lived life to the fullest and was always ready with a beautiful, warm smile, good conversation and a welcoming nature extended to all she met. She will be terribly missed by her father Lou Duggan (Susan Marlow), her older sister Andrea Clendenning (Geoff, lan 9, Conor 6) and younger sister Shannon Dowdall (Jamie, Pierce 4, Abigail 2). It gives us great comfort to know that Stacey is now at peace and in heaven with her mother predeceased her on May 3, 2015. The family and especially her husband Billy would like to give special thanks to Dr. Pasic and the nursing staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their dedication to giving Stacey exceptional care, comforting her and keeping her in good spirits during her stay and in her time of need.
Visitation will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, 21 First Street in Orangeville on Saturday, December 5, 2020 between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and again from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Face coverings must be worn during all events while at this service.
