Passed peacefully with his loving family by his side at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sunday, January 1st, 2023 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Patricia Lahey (nee Healey). Dear father of Tina Lahey, Darrin Lahey (Vanessa) and Melissa Lahey-Drzazga (Mike). Cherished granddad of Dale, Sandra, Jaden, Ceana, Keir, Koen, Rowan and Lucy. Remembered by his siblings Peter (Janet), Sonia (John), Virginia (David) and Carol Ann (Ross). Predeceased by his sister Eileen, brother Doug, and brother in law Gerald. He will be missed by sister in law Eileen (Dave) Maureen (Tom) Sandra (Bruce) and brother in law Kevin (Mary). Bas will also be greatly missed by Melanie and Dwayne, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, January 5th, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 6th, 2023 at 11:00 am.
A tree will be planted in memory of Sebastian in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
