My colleague Tim Orpin and I (both retired KCVI Guidance counselors) were recently talking about Katie and Samantha. I was shocked to see she had passed away when I searched her name. I had often wondered how things had gone for the girls after leaving Kingston. Both were very gentle, kind and intelligent, perhaps not suited for the way school is set up. I had heard from Katie at one point. I saved her email as it was so heartfelt and meaningful. Deepest condolences to the family. I am sure that Samantha’s spirit will live on in her son.
