Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Sunday April 30, 2023 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Jack Martin. Dear mother of John (Maureen), Randy (Christine), Shelley Sneider (Mark) and Ian (Agnes). Cherished grandmother of Alicia, Caitlin, Trevor, Philip (Aleks), Shawn (Andrea), Jeffrey (Sarah), Holly (Brian), Nicole (Nic), Ryan (Erica). Remembered by her step-grandchildren Austin, Anthony, Lisa, Kim, Corey, Dylan, Megan. Dearest Great-grandmother of Jayden, Justice, William, Joseph, Parker, Ryleigh and Charlie. Missed by her twin sister Rhoda and Nessie. Ruby will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Monday May 8th, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ruby in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
