God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be
He wrapped his arms around you
And whispered “Come with me”
So keep your arms around him
And give him special care
Make up for all his suffering
And all that seems unfair.
It is with deepest regret that the family of Robert Scott Thompson announce his passing on May 5, 2021
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan Thompson.
Also grieving his loss are his daughter Susan (Terry) Bell and son Jeffrey (Athena) Thompson, cherished Papa of Sydney, Regan, Baby Lincoln and Brayden.
Predeceased by his sister Sylvia Savoury and brother in law Ted and uncle to Bob Savoury and Janet Hillier.
There will be no service due to Covid restrictions. Cremation has taken place with internment at Greenwood Cemetery.
A tree will be planted in memory of Robert in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
