Robert George Cann, June 3, 1946-April 26, 2024, in his 78th year at Bethell Hospice in Inglewood, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved son of Gladys Florence Cann (Nash) (2005) and George Ernest Cann (1992). Brother to John Ernest Cann (Margo) and Elizabeth Heath (Forrest). Predeceased by his aunts Lillian and Doris Nash. Uncle to Mark (Sarah), Alison (Rick), Jennifer (Corey), Charlene and James (Julie). Great Uncle to Matthew, Abigail, Euan, Isaac, Oliver, Emma, Abbey and Finley. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers at Bethell Hospice. Robert was looked after so well and appreciated his time at Bethell. Robert requested a song upon leaving Bethell, ‘I Did It My Way’, and that is how he lived his life. Private family Interment will be held at Glendview Cemetery, Etobicoke. Memorial donations can be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice.

A tree will be planted in memory of Robert in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
