Retired from Johnson Controls Inc. after working 22 years.
Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the age of 80. Loving father of Ryan Bertrand, wife – Shannon and Lisa Bertrand; loving grandfather of Ayden and Rowan; dear brother of
Claire and Russel McIntyre (both deceased), Gisele and Murray Griffith (Murray deceased), Claude and Joan Bertrand (Joan deceased), Michael and Ina Bertrand (both deceased), Robert and Lorinda Bertrand, Gerry Bertrand, Jean Guy Bertrand, Raymond and Jean Bertrand, Louise (Bertrand) Salapa, Jacqueline and George Cox (George deceased), Lorraine and Andy Christie (Andy deceased), Diane and Robert Harris (Robert deceased). Pierre will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Peter had a huge heart for his family and friends as well as animals of all kind.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in Peter’s name to the Orangeville SPCA.
A tree will be planted in memory of Pierre in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 20th Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
