Obituary for Patricia Ann Mills (Freemantle)

Print
Mills, Patricia Ann (nee Freemantle)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Stan Mills. Dear mother of Andrew (Carine) and the late Stephen. Cherished grandmother of Olivia, Nicholas, Evan and Darren. Remembered by her sister Jeanette Whitcher (Brian) and her brothers Robert (Geraldine) and Derek.
Patricia met Stan in 1962 and they married in 1966. She was a wonderful wife, great mother, adoring grandmother and fabulous friend to all who knew her. Patricia’s greatest pride was her family. Her grand-kids were everything to her. Patricia loved them to pieces. She loved buying gifts for others not wanting anything in return. Patricia enjoyed making others happy. She was so kind and thoughtful of others that friends considered her as family, a second mother to some. Patricia had a great sense of humour and enjoyed pulling pranks on her family. She enjoyed listening to her music while playing on her computer and tapping her foot on the floor. Patricia loved collecting nic-nacs, like her cows, dolphins and recently butterflies. Patricia will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with Visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Patricia in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
