When we first moved to Orangeville Mildred and her son Ron and daughter Nancy lived right behind us
they had a big garden and vines for pumpkins came thru our fences and we had a pumpkin thanks to them
for thanksgiving. Great neighbours think her husband was a machinist mechanically inclined. Rest in Peace Mildred you were a very kind lady. We also know you loved your Church Family at Compass.

Mildred was my first Christian teacher I had after I became a Christian and she also taught me English. She was a very patient teacher. I extend my sympathies to the family of Mildred and the extended family. I thank God for knowing her and the Christian influence she was in my young Christian life. May the Lord be your comfort.

Ron and Heather's family and friends in New Zealand were saddened to hear of Mildred’s passing. Even though Ron and Heather live here their frequent visits to Ron’s family were always special and it gave the grandchildren a close and loving bond with their Granny Mil and the extended family who always made them so welcome. They spoke of Mildred fondly. In them, she has left a great legacy, one of kindness, love, gentleness, thinking of others and a special feeling of being part of a close, caring and loving family. I know they will remember Mildred so fondly and their Canadian visits will never be the same without their granny at the other end of that long plane journey.
We all send you our love and compassion and know that Mildred will live on in the hearts of many.
