It is with deepest sympathy, we announce the passing, from medical conditions on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Sudbury Health Sciences Center, of our eldest son, Michael Charles “Mike” King, age 56 of Parry Sound, Ontario. Lovingly remembered by his parents, Barry & Patricia King of Guelph; daughter Karen Ann King-Collins of Richmond, BC; (grandsons Zy and Markel); sister Debbie King (Josh/Jordan of Calgary); brother Kevin King (Tammy & Ashleigh, Hayleigh & Madison of Guelph); Aunt Mary Claire Harrold (Jim & Matthew of Flesherton).
Mike was born in Pembroke and resided for 25 years in Mississauga, retiring over the past 10 years in Parry Sound due to medical disabilities. He loved the outdoors, 4 wheeling and outdoor activities.
A Private Family Interment Service will be held later this spring.
Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Michael in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
