Martha (Schwarz) Vogtlaender, (Nispodsianka, Germany)
Martha passed away at Hamilton General Hospital. Daughter of Leokadia Hinz and Adolf Schwarz. Loving sister to brother’s Waldermar and Erwin and much loved sister Lidya Take. Much loved by her 4 children Bernd and Jurgen, Edwin and Barb. Remembered by Wilfred. She also leaves behind sister in-laws, nieces and nephews and cousins in Germany, Winnipeg and Ontario. Adel and Eric Jewer, Marque Pool Jewer special love and thanks.
A quiet family service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
God called your name so gently
That only you could hear,
No one heard the footsteps
Of the Angel drawing near.
Softly from the shadows
There came a gentle call,
You closed your eyes and went to sleep
Leaving your love in us all.
A tree will be planted in memory of Martha in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
