Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday September 7, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Soares (1994). Dear mother of Isabel Boccia (Luis Dos Santos) of Maxwell, Cisaltina (Roberto Martino) of Brampton, Humberto (2003) (Cidalia) of Mississauga, Natalia (Mario Cabral) of Orangeville, Manuel (Marites) of Orangeville, Antonio (Rosa) of Toronto, Jose (Helen) of Toronto, John of Orangeville and Susan (Bruno Pasquantonio) of Brampton. Cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 14. Predeceased by her brother Antonio and her sister Maria Melo. Margarida will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday September 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Margarida in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
