Passed away suddenly in her home on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 66. Beloved daughter of the late Ted and Aina Zirnis. Cherished sister of Solveiga (Sophie). Mara will also be greatly missed by her cousin Margie Markle and her family in the U.S.A., other relatives in Ontario and Latvia. Mara was a dedicated teacher with the School Board of Peel for over 30 years.
A Service to Celebrate Mara's Life will be held at later date.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
A tree will be planted in memory of Mara in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
