Pimentel, Lucy (nee Leandro)
Peacefully at Matthews House Hospice on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of John Pimentel (2010). Dear mother of Emily (Allan Lewis) and David (Karen). Cherished Nana of Sophie, Ethan, John, Megan. Remembered by her sisters Chris Ledo (Joe) and Mary Leandro (Floyd Hickey). Predeceased by her brother David. Lucy will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Recording of the service will be available after 12:30 p.m.
Interment to follow at Brampton Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Lucy in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
