Bailey, Lois May (nee Habkirk)
Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 45 years to Douglas Bailey. Dear mother of Leanne Ament (Joe) and Trevor Dunn. Cherished grandmother of Spencer (Trina), Clinton (Kimberly), Zachary (Taylor) and Luka. Great-grandmother of Allayna and Morgan, and Avery and Amber. Predeceased by her parents Bert & Bella Habkirk; her sister Gladys Habkirk and her brothers Roy & Ross Habkirk. Lois will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Knox United Church, Caledon or Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the nursing staff of Care Partners and Closing the Gap for their amazing care.
A tree will be planted in memory of Lois in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
