Obituary for Kostantinos Ioannidis

Ioannidis, Kostantinos

Kostas was born in a village called Asprogia Florinas from the province of Macedonia.

He was the youngest of his two siblings—Michalis and Leuteria.
He left his village and immigrated to Canada 1965 at the young age of 18 full of excitement and hope for new beginnings.

He returned to Greece in May of 1970 where he met and married his wife Diamando. They lived a wonderful life for 46 years along with 2 children—Spiro and Ioanna.

Unfortunately fate took the life of his beloved wife Diamando on May 14, 2016.

He is survived by:

Spouse Eirini, her children George and Evangelia and grandson Phillip.

Son in law Nekatrio, his only grandson Haralampos and daughter-in-law Kelly.

Kostas was a very special person who had a passion for fishing and hunting but above all else was his love for his beautiful family. He was a tender and loving husband, father/step-father and grandfather full of smiles that lit up a room by his mere presence.

He will be missed by all but not forgotten.

May his Memory be Eternal.
