Passed away peacefully at Bethany Lodge, Unionville on Friday, August 30, 2019 in his 105th year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys(nee: Efford). Deeply loved father of Leah (the late Steen) Schonemann and Bill (Donna) Efford. Cherished grandfather of Blake (Tasha), Kelly (Brad), Danielle, Tyler (Shirin), Donna Lynn (Richie), Rob; great grandfather of Logan, Grace, Steen, Liam, Connor, Isabelle, Jamie Lynn, Brenden, and Meagan.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Memorial donations to Back to the Bible (www.backtothebible.ca/donate/) would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Harvey in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
