Peacefully with his loving family at his side at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Lynda Danby. Dear father of Christopher, Lauralea Peterson, Penny James. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Elizabeth and Erin Danby, Dawson and Deakon Peterson and great-grandfather of baby Lily Kyle. Remembered by his sisters Joan Fess and Mary Fraser (Bruce). Beloved brother-in-law of Sharron Buchanan (Doug), Valerie Weber (Grant) and Raymond Whiting (Marilyn). Ken will also be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 222, Shelburne on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ken in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
