Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Tuesday November 8th, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Paul Hunter. Dear mother of Cindi (Ron), Lisa (Ken) and Amber (Dean). Cherished grandmother of Jade (Clint), Megan (Nate), Georgia and Cole. Precious great grandmother of Daisy.
Loving sister of David Courtney (Christina) and Mark Courtney (Jane) and dear sister-in-law of Gwen Courtney (Paul 2002). Karen will also be greatly missed by her In-laws Bill & Suzanne Hunter, Margie & Don Jefferson, Lynda & Lawry Montgomery as well as other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Headwaters E & F wing's for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville Thursday November 10, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 11th, 2022 at 2:30 pm with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Karen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
