Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 59 years to Doris Beckett. Dear father of William (Alana), Lynn (2013), Robert (Jody) and Lou Ann (James). Cherished grandfather of Olivia, Bryson, Sarah, Lindsay, Zack, Alex, Jared, Kirstin, Darren, Ryder and Austin. Remembered by his sister Mary Van Den Elzen. Joseph will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
