It is with sadness that we announce the loss of John B, Waterous. He passed away at Guelph General Hospital in the I.C.U. with his wife and daughter by his side on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the age of 64. John was the beloved husband of Maria Mercedes for 22 years; the proud father of Stephanie Maria; the loved son of Norm (deceased) and Betty (deceased). He was loved by his brother Jim (Edwina) and his niece Heather. John will be sadly missed and remembered by his extended family and friends.
John was a sports lover, especially hockey, baseball and golf. He was an art director for many years which is where he met his wife. He was an avid lover of photography, especially taking pictures of flowers, landscapes and scenery. His favourite past-time was listening to music and would stay up for many hours listening to it. He introduced his daughter to many different kinds of music. We will miss you and remember all the happy times.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 20th Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
