Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Margot Middlehurst MacRae. Predeceased by his first wife Sandra Renee MacRae. Dear father of Rob (De-Anna), Shawn, Sheri (Shawn), Jason (Natalie) and Scott. Cherished grandfather of Kylie, Darren, Jordyn, Jaimi, Hannah, Brody, James and Carter. Remembered by his siblings Andrew (Julia), Joanne (Rick), Gordon (deceased) (Sue), and Laurie (Pat). Ian will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Ian's Life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St. Orangeville on Saturday March 11th, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations to the Orangeville and District OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ian in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
