To the Bradley family,
from Rick and Lynn Packer
Our sympathy in the loss of your mother. We enjoyed knowing her in the time we lived at Orton many years ago. She shared some of her secret recipes with me which I felt privileged to receive and which we still enjoy. One time many years after we had moved away, I accidentally called her number and we had a great chat. She didn’t even seem the slightest surprised that I had randomly called her. 😊 Mrs. Bradley was not a farmer’s wife- she was a farmer. With our sincere sympathy to you all.

My deepest sympathies to you all! Your mom was a community minded and hard working wife and mother all her life. I remember her leading 4-H clubs and being part of the Maples community. I had the pleasure of working for her and Brian on the farm when I came back to the community 22 years ago for a few months and was reminded of her love for the farm-especially the sheep! May you be comforted in your memories and the knowledge that she will live forever in your hearts!!

Thinking of you all at this most difficult time on the passing of your Mom. A lot of fond memories are still with us from the times of growing up in our 'Maples' community. Our deepest sympathies.

Dear Brian, Lynda Grant and Scott
You Mother was a wonderful mother-in-law to me. I have many cherished memories of her. I have missed her over the years, but have a wonderful memory of her at Candice and Zach’s wedding this was such a happy moment for me at the wedding. I still consider all of you family.
Joan was a wonderful grandma to Jacob and Candice and they have many wonderful memories of her. I always ask Candice and Jacob about all of most recently asking if Lynda and Al had returned from Mexico.
Brian I know how hard this must be for you, having lost my Mom in the past year and a half. Going through the loss of your Mother without the support of a spouse can be more difficult. Scott please check up on Brian .

Now a funny story.

Joan was taking care of Jacob and Candice.
She happened to see a fox on the hill, she told the kids to stay in the house, grabbing the gun going outside to shoot the fox. I have no idea weather she got the fox. But I do remember the kids telling me about this there were very young.
I had visions of Granny from Beverly Hill Billies. Which in turn sent memories that Lynda told me of Scott as a little kid being afraid of granny on the Beverly Hill Billies.

My condolences to all of you and your children.
