Peacefully at Temiskaming Hospital on January 27, 2023 in her 90th year
Jean was pre-deceased by her husband Jerry (2008) and daughter Judy (2020).
Jean will be missed by her loving children Cathy (Paul), Nancy (Ray), Dan (Karen), Grandchildren Jennifer (Mark), Damien (Brandy), Robert (Josee), Sarah, Great Grandchildren Nolan, Nixon, Nova, Navy Jean, Keira, Eli and Nash. She will also be missed by her sister Hilda, nieces, nephews and her many good friends.
She was very proud of all of her family and would brag about them every chance that she could to anyone that would listen.
She was an avid gardener. Loved the Toronto Blue Jays. Love knitting finger puppets for the hospital to give to the young patients at the hospital.
Jean was always up for any adventure she never said no to a road trip and was a pretty good navigator.
The family of Jean Waters would like to invite you to a celebration of her life at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St. Orangeville on Saturday Feb 18, 2023 2:00 pm -4:00 pm.
Memorial donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
