John De Groot was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Beloved husband of Alice (April 20, 2004). Loving father of Bill and Evelyn, Jenny and Arnold Groen, Bernie (February 20, 2016) and Mary, Joanne and Glen Cowling, Stan and Nicky, Susan De Groot and Steve Gill, Sheri and Greg Wildeboer. Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Canadian Reformed Church in Grand Valley at 11:00 a.m. Face coverings must be worn during all events at funeral home and church.

Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in spring 2021.
