Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Doris Stephenson. Dear father of Ken (Janette) and Sharon Gignac (Al). Cherished grandfather of Rob (Sherry), Julie, Jennifer (Glen) and Cindy. Great-grandfather of Joshua, Jadyn, Rachael and Nathan. James will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Webcast of service will be available at 2:00 pm on Wednesday. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of James in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
