Hudson, Irene Edith (nee Shields) Peacefully at Burloak Long Term Care, Burlington on June 8th, 2023 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Robert Walter Hudson. Dear mother of Norman, Wayne (Jennifer), Linda Hudson, Rick (Debbie), Ron (Elizabeth). Cherished Nan of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Bill and Glenn. Irene will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St. Orangeville on Saturday September 2nd, 2023 at 2:30 pm. with visitation beginning 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Irene in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
