Peacefully at the Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville on October 21, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Max. Dear mother of Lynda Lidwill (Marc) and Janet Risher (David). Cherished grandmother of Alexander, Erik, Jake (Cassandra). Dearest great-grandmother of Vivian. Remembered by her sister Ann Marshall (John). Iola will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. Special thank you to the staff at Avalon Care Centre.
Funeral Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St. Orangeville on October 26 2022 at 2:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Avalon Care Centre or Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Iola in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
