Obituary for Gweneth Ruby Lindsay (Reid)
Gweneth Ruby Lindsay passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2019 in Orangeville, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband George Lindsay and her parents, Oliver and Ruby Reid.
Gwen is survived by one sister, Olive Rutherford and predeceased by her siblings, Edith Loucks, Albert Reid, Grace Christensen, Charlie Reid and Neil Reid.
Gwen was dear mother to Glenford James Lindsay, Teresa Ann Vangerven, Vernon Reid Lindsay and Gerald George Lindsay as well as Gramma to 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Remembered by many friends from the Dufferin Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Orangeville.
Visitation will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 389 Blind Line, Orangeville, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
A tree will be planted in memory of Gweneth in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m.
