Obituary for Gordon Lessard

Lessard, Geoffrey Gordon
With immense sadness we announce the passing of Gordon (Geoffrey) Lessard at Credit Valley Hospital on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He passed peacefully with family by his side.
Beloved husband to Muriel (Flett), devoted father to daughters Jennifer (Perry), Christine (Paul) and Lesley (Ted) and adoring grandfather to Joshua, Vanessa, Garrett, Davis, Rebecca and Amy. He is survived by his brother Kenn Lessard (Sandra) and predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Edith Lessard, his brother Bobby and his sister Diane Nicholls (Jim) of Timmins, Ontario.
Gord will be deeply missed by all those who knew him, and he will be remembered for his joyful spirit, laughter, light, and song. He lived a full life and was grateful for his family and friends, his many years teaching, and his retirement years which he spent travelling the world with Muriel and enjoying life with his children and grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Gord graciously volunteered his time and talents to his community and local churches. He enjoyed travelling, the outdoors, fishing and boating, playing cards and always loved a good meal and conversation with family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m.
