Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Lyla. Dear father of Scott of Vancouver and Wendy (Joe) of Aurora. Cherished grandfather of Amanda and Joshua. Remembered by his brothers Stanley, Ronald (Adeline), Paul (Linda) and his sisters Zelia (Jim-deceased), Carmel (Adolphe-deceased), Aline (Therence) and Pat (Edmond). Predeceased by his sister Rita (Laureat-deceased). Francis will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
Private Family Arrangements entrusted to Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre.
Funeral will be held at a later date in Baie Sainte Anne, New Brunswick.
A tree will be planted in memory of Francis in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
