Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre in Orangeville, Ontario on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 67 years to Maria Magdolna (Link). Dear father of Frank (Ruth) and Charles (Janine). Cherished 'Papa' of Sara, Stephen and Rebecca (Koichi), Brennan, Joel (Ashley), Lauryn (Patrick) Banc and Arden (Ryden) Koehler. Great grandfather to Colton Nagy. Predeceased by his older brother Dr. Dezsõ (Márta). Survived by his younger sister Matild (Ede) Erdész in Hungary. Predeceased by his parents Márta (Kompár) and Ferencz Nagy of Hajdudorog, Hungary, where young Frank (Papa) was born.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Monday, January 8th, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Private family burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, Don Mills, where Frank will be laid to rest with his wife Magda. Memorial donations to The Scott Mission in Frank's memory would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Ferenc in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
