December 31, 1928 – December 1, 2020
A strong, thoughtful, sweet and loving woman, passed away peacefully at the Dufferin Oaks in Shelburne ON surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband (John Morris) of almost 70 years. Doreen was predeceased to her brothers Bob (Jean) and Ron (Joyce). She will be dearly missed by her sister Cheryl and brother-in-law Keith Tiveron. A loving and caring Mother to David (Marilyn), Paul (Barb), Deborah (Frank) and Janice (Jim). Grandmother to Lauren, Brett, David, Kathryn, Amanda, Jennifer, Lisa, Brian and Emily. Great-Grandmother to 11 adorable little ones.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Private Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Interment will be held in May in Midland at the Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the www.lung.ca or Dufferin Oaks, 151 Centre St., Shelburne, ON L9V 3R7.
A tree will be planted in memory of Doreen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
