Suddenly at Trillium Health Care, Mississauga Hospital on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Judith (nee Carr). Dear father of Brenda Watson, Bonnie Helps (Gary) and Andrew. Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Elizabeth, Jordan, Katie. Predeceased by his parents Elsie & Basil Watson and siblings David and Margaret (Lewis Stokes). Remembered by his brother-in-law John Carr (Marilyn). Don will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m). Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to Tweedsmuir Presbyterian Memorial Church or Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Don in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
