Passed away peacefully at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Alberta for over 63 wonderful years. Dear father of Kelli (Barry) MacGregor the late Jana (1985). Cherished grandfather of Kristy (Greg) Swanson, Donald (Jessica), and Jon. Predeceased by his twin brother Ron. Lovingly remembered by his sister Ruth Hodgson. Don will also be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville. A webcast of Don's service will be available Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 am through the Dods & McNair website. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County or to World Accord would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Don in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
