Obituary for David White
White, Allan David. January 28, 1932 – March 18, 2023.
Died peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Sally and their two children Tina (Hunter Andrews) and Tim White (Lisa). He leaves five grandchildren: Brian (Jennica), Kirk (Lauren) and Elizabeth (Joren) Andrews, and Gavin (Erin) and Riley White. He was great-grandfather to Remi and Hollis Andrews. David will be remembered for his love of painting, gardening, wonderful storytelling and gift for keeping in touch by letters and emails. He was a kind and gentle soul with an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eye. To honour his wish, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Headwaters Health Care Centre (www.headwatershealth.ca).
A tree will be planted in memory of David in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
