Obituary for Ted Crozier

Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on March 14th, 2023. Ted had been hospitalized for close to a week with respiratory problems that worsened, and all efforts made by the staff at Headwaters were unsuccessful. Ted was a man filled with spirit and music and he loved spending hours listening to his favorite artists. Although on oxygen, it never stopped Ted from exercising. We all will miss seeing him cycling and smiling and always ready to say hello and want to chat. Ted made a special connection with everyone he met and won people over with his charm. Ted will be so dearly missed by everyone at Hillview, but he has joined his friend, and we know that they are together.
Ted loved to sing songs such as “I Did it My Way”. He would belt out songs, as if at his own concert.
Ted lived his life to its fullest and always remained positive, even at the end. He will be so deeply missed, but he did live life his way! The song “I Did It My Way” by Frank Sinatra is a song about self determination and strength, and truly embraces some of the more vibrant qualities of Ted. While it was everyone’s hope that Ted would walk back through the doors of Hillview, it was not meant to be. His positivity and beauty however will forever live on inside of Hillview, and memories will be cherished.

Ted will be laid to rest with his beloved mother at a later date at St Jude Anglican Church, 10 Howarth Ave, Scarborough Toronto ON M1R 1H4. Information will be shared when a date has been confirmed.
Memorial Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St. Orangeville, Ontario on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Memorial donations to Prader Willi Syndrome Association (www.opwsa.com) would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ted in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
