Obituary for Colin Geoffrey Noon

Noon, Colin Geoffrey
Peacefully on September 21, 2021, at home surrounded by family Colin Geoffrey Noon rested. Born on July 5, 1940 in England, he emigrated to Canada with his family in 1967. Colin (Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Pops, Popsi, Mr. Fix it) did it all. Never was there something broken that he could not fix. If he did not have the right tool, he just made it. Colin was the Owner of Precision Camera and later Orangeville Camera and Computer.
He was a loving Husband to wife Patricia for over 60 years, a loving father to daughters Julie (Ian) and Linda and beloved by his grandchildren, Thomas, Hunter, and Patrick.
Predeceased by his parents Mary Elizabeth and John Noon, sister Patricia and brother Terry (Jean). He is survived by his brothers John (Anne), and Alan.
Dearly missed by close friends Ray and Susan Drisdelle.
Colin was cherished by many friends, family, nieces, and nephews.
He was many things to many people. A son, Husband, Brother, Father, Pops, friend, and fixer of anything (Dad can fix it). Colin was a Prop Master during Halloween, a builder of some pretty intricate (and to scale) school projects and if someone needed something that did not exist, he would sit and think and very soon create exactly what was needed. He loved with all his heart, projecting strength, compassion and integrity. He is loved and missed by all who had the honour to know him.
Per Colin’s wishes cremation has already taken place and we would like to thank Dods and McNair for their compassion during this process. A Tree will be planted in the Dods and McNair Memorial Forest In his honour next year. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Our family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses of Bayshore, and especially Amy for their support and care. We would also like to thank Dr. Van der Ham for his tenderness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate any donations to Sick Kids Foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of Colin in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 20th Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
