October 17, 1937 - May 23, 2021
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our Mother, Charlotte McNabb. Beloved wife of Robert McNabb (2015). Loving and giving Mother of Alison, Charlene and John McNabb (Laurence Laberge). She will be dearly remembered by her brother Darryl McLure, sister Sandra McLure and cousin Grace Lord. Charlotte will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In 1981 until her retirement in 2000, Charlotte taught in the Business Education Department at ODSS. Her unquestionable professionalism and dedication to her job generated well-deserved respect. But it was her kind, gentle and caring manor which won her the admiration and fondness of both her students and colleagues. Upon retiring, Charlotte was an active member in the community. She volunteered at many local charities and supported the local theatre.
Our Mother was a loving, kind and thoughtful woman. May your kindness and gentle soul continue to guide us through life. We love you Mom.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. RSVP IS REQUIRED.
Memorial donations to the Orangeville and District OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Charlotte in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
